Pick a username. That becomes your subdomain. The email is just for invoices.

Choose any of the seven bird tiers. You can change later.

Pay the invoice

On-chain Bitcoin or Lightning. The invoice shows USD and BTC at the live rate.

STEP 4

Open your Nest

Provisioning takes about thirty seconds. Your dashboard lights up with every app ready to go.

Common questions

What is a Nest?
A Nest is your own container on our hardware. It has its own storage, its own apps, and its own subdomain. Other customers can't see into it; you can't see into theirs.
How does payment work?
Bitcoin only at the moment, on-chain or Lightning. Each invoice shows the USD amount and the current BTC equivalent. Pay before the due date and your Nest stays live.
Can I cancel?
Any time. Your Nest stays online through the end of the period you've paid for, then it's archived. Take a backup with the file browser before that if you want to keep anything.
Do I need to know Linux?
No. There's no SSH access and no shell. Everything is in the web dashboard. If you can use Plex, you can use MediaNest.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Today your Nest lives at app.yourname.medianest.stream. Bring-your-own-domain is on the roadmap.
What about content rules?
You're responsible for what you put in your Nest. We don't crawl your library and we don't run automated takedown bots, but we will act on valid legal complaints.
Is my data private?
Each Nest is isolated at the container and the filesystem level. We don't index or scan customer libraries. Staff don't poke around in there.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Upgrading is immediate. Downgrading happens at the next billing cycle if the new tier still fits your current usage.
